Discover the best activities around Lake Annecy to do with your family.



1) The lake

You can simply walk along the #lake.

For example, you can start your walk from the Paquier (the huge lawn by the lake) and walk along it on the right to the

6) The castle of Menthon St Bernard

A marvellous 12th century castle run by the same family for 23 generations

Between the magnificently preserved secular architecture and exceptional furniture, come and discover the half-timbered gallery, the kitchen with its 15-metre long pass-through dug into the rock, the library containing 12,000 volumes dating from before the Revolution of 1789, the grand salon, the mistress of the house's bedroom with its walls covered in Aubusson tapestries and the pilgrims' room.

8) The Forclaz pass

A must-see view of Lake Annecy at an altitude of 1150 m.

Accessible by car (30 minutes from Annecy) or on foot from the end of the lake

Departure point for paragliding flights

9) The nature reserve at the end of the lake

Located in the commune of Doussard.

One of the few walks without a difference in altitude, accessible to all (except dogs)

Discovery of the fauna and flora as well as the beaver houses
